ChamberWest News Update

Dear Members,

Hopefully, many of our business leaders were able to join the Utah Economic Response Task Force virtual conference call on Monday.  I was inspired by Governor Herbert’s comments and the information contained in the Utah Leads Together, Utah’s plan for a health and economic recovery plan that was prepared by the Economic Response Task Force.  He shared that as Utahn’s, we can ADAPT, INNOVATE, and OVERCOME.  You can access both a summary and the full plan at https://coronavirus.utah.gov/business/ .  These calls will take place on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 4 pm and we will continue to send out an email with the information.

As I have been asked to serve on the Covid-19 State/Local Resources Task Force, chaired by Val Hale, I would welcome any communications from our members of how we can support your survival and success.  I’m anticipating the creation of a ‘One sheeter’ of what to access and how that can be shared with our members.  Please continue to reach out with your issues and concerns.  Let us know how we can support or help.  Do you have what you need to keep your doors open? We will continue to update our website with important and timely information.

We are in communication with members and staff of our federal delegation and will work to forward along valuable information to you and/or to them as it becomes available.  Justin Anthony with Senator Lee’s office has shared a couple of highlights that will be helpful to you.
