This is an exciting week for ChamberWest as we are hosting a Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on Wednesday, June 10th from 11:45 – 1:00 pm.  As many of you know, this Gubernatorial Primary is very important as many believe the successful candidate will go on to be elected as Governor is November. Ballots will be mailed sometime between June 9th and June 23rd with the Primary Election on Tuesday June 30th. If you haven’t already, please mark your calendar, plan to join us, and help us spread the word for the upcoming Westside Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Forum.  ChamberWest has invited the South Jordan Chamber and the Southwest Valley Chamber to participate in this multi-chamber event. You can watch the program live at www.chamberwest.com .
 
In support of many businesses, the SBA Regional Administrator, Dan Nordberg has shared a statement on changes to the Paycheck Protection Program based on H.R. 7010 that was signed into law on Friday by President Trump. There are several changes and enhancements to the successful Paycheck Protection Program including maturity for loans extended, coverage period extended, safe harbor elements, a shift in percentage usages for the loan, and more. You can view the information at: https://chamberwest.com/blog/chamberwest-blog-4949/post/statement-by-sba-regional-administrator-dan-nordberg-on-changes-to-the-paycheck-protection-program-24729 . Dan Nordberg will be joining our ChamberWest Tuesday Topics on Tuesday, June 16h to go into detail on the new changes and evolution of the PPP. Please note the information below and plan to join us.
