FROM: City of West Jordan Public Works Operations – Streets Division

The City of West Jordan Streets crew will be working on 7800 S. between Airport Rd and 4800 W. (see aerial below).

Beginning on Monday July 13, 2020 the crew will be milling/grinding off a portion of the existing asphalt in preparation of placing new asphalt in the near future. This schedule is subject to change as it is weather dependent. In addition, the schedule could change due to mechanical issues, etc.

The work hours are 7am to 6pm. During this period, we are asking you to please refrain from parking on the street and please keep your sprinklers/water from hitting the roadway.

Please expect travel delays and find alternate routes around the project if possible. 7800 S. will be open to limited traffic allowing one lane of travel in each direction during this operation. This work will NOT change your garbage collection – so please place your solid waste containers curbside as you normally do.
