CW Leadership Communication - We Need You!

Good morning!

This time of the year inspires one to pause and think about all the amazing people that make this community so great.  ChamberWest continues to grow and thrive due to the passion, experience, and expertise of our many committed and engaged members.  Senator Karen Mayne spoke at the Associated General Contractors ribbon cutting yesterday for their new training center.  She highlighted the impact of many voices joining together in a powerful chorus vs. the individual voice.  As we work to ensure we retain a business friendly environment, there is power in numbers and our voice is loud!

You’ve all heard the saying that many hands makes light work.  ChamberWest continues to offer many opportunities to get engaged and to share your talents while elevating a community and enjoying the camaraderie of other business leaders.   Please let us know if you have interest in serving on one our upcoming 2022 events committees – the Annual Awards Gala Committee, the Annual Golf Tournament Committee, or the Fall Business Conference Committee.

You may also want to consider the Professional Development Committee as they plan bi-monthly events drawing great presenters and timely topics of interest as well as the topics/presenters for the Small Business Series.  The Ambassadors group has a lot of fun with member outreach, ribbon cuttings and the Friday Business Connections event.  Another option is the Women in Business Executive Committee if you have been engaged with this strong group of women and want to escalate your involvement.  Please let chamber staff know if you have an interest in engaging.

ChamberWest is looking for a new Business Development Director.  If you know someone who is interested in joining an exciting team that gets things done, someone who enjoys interacting with business and community leaders, or someone with a passion for service, please have them reach out to me directly.  Working at a chamber can be very rewarding with a high energy environment, a mission of service, and professional and leadership development.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need any additional information. Thanks much for your continued support and involvement in ChamberWest!
