The highly anticipated $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund under the American Rescue Plan, signed into law on March 11th, will provide direct relief funds to restaurants and other hard-hit food establishments that have experienced economic distress and significant operational losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Restaurants can register for an account in advance at sba.gov starting Friday, April 30, 2021, at 7 am MDT, attend live recorded virtual training webinars and access the application which opens on Monday, May 3rd at 10 am MDT. The $15 million 2021 Impacted Small Business Catalyst Grant offered through the Governor’s Office of Economic Development has extended their application deadline to April 30th at 5:00 pm MDT. This grant is for businesses that experienced an 80% or greater revenue decline. Businesses must meet minimum eligibility requirements.
